Bizarre Hand-woven Mystery textile

I have come across a few of these unusual textiles over the years.  Generally they are the same colors and basic elongated rectangular shape, with very similar embroidered designs.

This one is Very Old and a bit worn, from years of use.  I have been told it was probably Central Asian, or Early Chinese, but I am thinking it might be Peruvian, or other South American country.

The Fiber with which it is woven looks like Linen, with slubs, but I think it is a type of Ramie, or Bast fiber, as it has a slight sheen.  It is very soft, and limp.  The embroidery appears to be brickwork, and done in Cotton Floss.

The Cloth Measures 30" X 76" sides are selvage, ends have 1" hems.

Very Used Condition, but Clean.  There are several small mends in the form of reweaves and one small hole,

There are areas of the embroidery that have worn thin on the surface.
